URGENT NOTICE REGARDING EXPORTS TO VENEZUELA

On January 28, 2019 the US Government added Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PdVSA) to the Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list. This means that Global Filters Corp cannot accept any new orders, directly or indirectly, from PDVSA as of January 28, 2019.

OFAC has issued General License 12 (GL12), “Authorizing Certain Activities Necessary to Wind Down of Operations
or Existing Contracts with Petroleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PdVSA)”. This license permits activities
“ordinarily incident and necessary to the wind down of …contracts” in effect prior to January 28, 2019
subject to certain restrictions and expires February 27, 2019. This means that after February 27, 2019,
no Global Filters Corp product, from anywhere in the world, is permitted to be transferred to PDVSA.

Resellers and/or Distributors must wind down any pre-existing commitments to PdVSA as soon as possible and in any
case prior to February 27, 2019. Additionally, no new agreements involving Global Filters Corp product
may be entered into with PDVSA.

More information about the OFAC sanctions involving PDVSA and
GL12 can be found on the OFAC website - https://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions

As a reminder, the SDN List is a list of individuals and companies whose assets are blocked by OFAC and
U.S. persons are generally prohibited from dealing with them. All Global Filters Corp locations anywhere in the world
meet the definition of a US person. Resellers or Distributors selling Global Filters Corp hardware are prohibited from
doing business with a restricted person and are responsible for screening potential denied parties in any
Global Filters Corp related transaction.

The US Government provides a screening tool which can be used
and is available on the web at https://www.export.gov/csl-search

Export laws and sanctions are complex and change frequently, so it is important that any export or
reexport you make is accordance with the latest legal requirements. Contact your legal representative
with any questions you may have regarding such export laws and sanctions.
